Xcyte updated Brand new full canvas spier and mackay jackets with a new update entry:

Jacket description

I bought these custom only a few months ago. I spent a little over $3000 on these and I only tried them on once, for a few minutes. They still have the tack stitching (except one jacket). These are all fully canvased. They will fit 38s. Nothing wrong with them, I just feel tweed doesnt work for me, the brown one isn't my style and the sand one doesnt suit my complexion. I am at $1000 firm (not including shipping) for all three which I feel is an amazing value for three jackets. i'd prefer...

Wish i was your size. I’m considering commissioning that brown and sand one. What are your thoughts on them?

The sand one is amazing, I def would pull the trigger on that sand one... I just feel the color didn't suit me. When I was trying it on, my GF said it gave her "professor vibes" lol. I'm going for a more "i may or may not be in the mafia" sorta look LOL. This is true to the fabric color on the spier website.

The guabello brown one is also great, but not my style because its heathered... I like a bit of texture. It was also darker than on the website... So I was disappointed.

If you were referring to the other marling and evans, the brown check... If you like tweed, go for it! It's a very substantial fabric and the pattern is quite nice. It feels quite rough, thick and generally gives off a more gentlemanly, mature vibe (once again according to my gf lol).

They're all great honestly lol. They were my first sports jacket purchases (did a complete warddrobe 180 like 5 months ago lol), so I didn't really know what I like. I'm losing a bunch of money selling them, but oh well! Once I do, I'll order a new custom lol.

If you want to know anything more, just lmk! :)

That’s great to hear! The sand is in my list of favorite maybes but it’s a bit hard because that much linen may or may not wear well. I think spier is coming out with it or a very similar one next spring so I’ll hold off until then. And I was referring to the brown tweed. Very good news then! It looks similar to the fox tweed that came out a couple of years ago, and coincidentally I’m replacing that as well. Thanks so much!

Man, had the jacket been 0,65 inches longer and the shoulders 0,3 inches wider they would've fit me perfectly. That's a bummer. Oh well.

Aw too bad man! Bummer for me too hahah. I priced these low so I can get myself another jacket lol. Have a great weekend bro
