To my (admittedly borked up) palate the C bottlings from HH always tend to be the best. But ecbp and lbp are both a solid choice regardless of which bottling it may be!!

That lingering peppery finish was so damn good. Was a bit out off by the big ethanol nose on first pour, but it mellowed out…

I need to start buying some of the Single Barrel. I've been so obsessed with the BiB and 15 year old, that I've probably ignored a lot of solid store picks. The 17 year old apparently hitting gift shop only (I plan to stop by there in coming weeks, but assume they will be all sold out by the then) for ~ $300 I think? I bought the 375 ml release they did of the 17 several years back, and was pretty happy with it, but at the time, the 375 was in the ~$75 range?

There's a ton of '15 year' store picks that are actually 17-18 year old, and only $50 or so (at 90-105 proof)

Interesting, I've never seen a Dickel 15 year old that was older than the stated age, and I've probably bought a dozen bottles. Maybe they are sending all that special stuff to your neck of the woods!
