Boot recommendations? ...

I have a pair of Alden 405s, neoprene sole. About 9+ years old. Resoled a year ago, they get a ton of wear.

Looking for a second pair of boots that are less expensive. I liked the look of the Wolverine 1000 Mile. But several of the comments/reviews haven't been too flattering wrt durability.

Most of the time I'd be wearing these in the office, occasional walking on sidewalks. I'd like something that kind of looked like the Wolverine 1000 Mile.

I kind of like the look of the Red Wing Beckman. What do people here think of them? What else should I be considering?

And forgot to ask, is the Beckman the same thing as the Gentleman Traveler?
