Is there some kind of police misconduct here she can be fired for? Well, not so much for the misconduct as much as for being a dumb ****.

I figured 'Well, not everyone knows past pop culture icons' and gave her the benefit of the doubt. Then she said she didn't know what vinyl was.

What. The. ****.

I can imagine the station call.

'There's this guy here who says he's staying at a local hotel. He's really eccentric and says he's a famous musician.'
'What's his name?'
'Bob Dylan.'

It was a case of mistaken identity. She thought he was black.

...it was mid-afternoon, but it’s an ethnic Latin area and the residents felt the man didn’t fit in.

I'm 23 and I listen to Dylan, but honestly if I saw him walking towards me on the street as he looks right now, I would not have noticed him.

'He was on a walkabout but she wasn’t entirely convinced of his innocence.

'I’m afraid we all fell about laughing. If it was me, I’d have been demanding his autograph not his photo ID.
'The poor woman has taken rather a lot of abuse from us,' he added.
Is this how the cops talk in Jersey now? I call BS.

"I asked him what his name was and he said, 'Bob Dylan,' Buble said. "Now, I've seen pictures of Bob Dylan from a long time ago and he didn't look like Bob Dylan to me at all. He was wearing black sweatpants tucked into black rain boots, and two raincoats with the hood pulled down over his head.

"The policewoman was very young and did not recognise Dylan. There was another officer with her and even he did not recognise Dylan. "Both said they never listened to his music and had no idea what he looked like."
I don't think any of these reporters know what the **** they are talking about.
