I hate Nike too. I also never much cared for Converse (I grew up on Vans slip ons).

Why the absence of Converse? I voted Adidas because I own and love these shoes:

Converse FTW. Simple, cheap, minimal branding, though everybody knows what they are. Not the most well made, or well constructed... but they still look good even when beat to ****. And just when you think they're getting played out, they go back to the underground.

Adidas Originals are cool too... I'd probably like them better without the three stripes. I couldn't give a **** about other Adidas shoes though. They're right up there with...

Nike... overbranded, can't stand the Swoosh. cmf's blazers and thrift store find is not enough to save this one.

Reebok, Puma, ... nothing of interest for me there, though I did love Pumps when I was in Grade 3.

Vans, I don't skate, so I'd feel like a tool wearing them. Even if I did skate, I probably still wouldn't care because I find them too clunky looking in general.

Sketchers are hideous.

Love my adidas originals i.e Italia , Gazelles , Tokio. Problem is i'm wearing them less these days as the branding is just a little to much for the way i like to dress. I suppose its all about growing older though.

I like spring courts and these plimsoles that have just come out from ymc. I find they go with alot of my wardrobe. May get a pair of converse soon as well

I have worn evey brand listed at one point in time in my life
as far as comfort goes Sketchers trainers are pretty decent, but ugly
I seem to always return to the Classic Puma and Adidas styles, none of that wild ****
