Best leather loafers brands in the world

Hi there, i'm new on this forum and i'd like to know (apart my own research) according to you which are the best leather loafers brands around the globe. I'm italian and wear Velasca brand for example which are very good...could you suggest other comfortable brands?

I think if one makes good shoes in general, then one makes good loafers. Not sure if there's anything special with loafers that a good shoemaker must do differently.

Hello, please pardon me for reviving this older thread. I’m interested in a pair of Bontoni Loafers and don’t have any options to try a fitting before purchasing. I’m a 43.5 in Oxfords, any advice on if Bontoni Loafers generally run big, small, or true?
