Best Lavenham jacket to wear over a suit or sportcoat?

Hi there,

I've been browsing the quilted jacket threads and I've seen a bunch of recommendations. It seems like Lavenham is probably the best value for money, with a slim fit to boot.

I have a very nice matte one from Oriani already with a trim fit, so I'm looking for something that's more for everyday wear.

The problem is, the Lavenham website doesn't say what the length of each model is.

I intend to wear one over suits and sportcoats -- Do knowledgeable members know what model is long enough for this?

Any advice in terms of sizing? I wear a 40R and I'm looking for something that isn't too snug. Slightly slouchy is fine.

My suits/SCs tend to be 30-31" from back of collar.

Lastly, any advice on the cheapest sources for a Lavenham, online or otherwise, in the UK?

Thanks!

Email or telephone the company and ask them to provide you with the measurements you require.
