I wound up ordering five washed denim western shirts from Real McCoy’s:

Plus three in faded black:

Ultimately, the sizing and measurements were too dead-on to pass-up. Fit is just right, except that the sleeves might be a tad long—we’ll see after a few washes.

If I could have adjusted some of the details, I would have preferred round snap buttons, a more conventional double point yoke pattern in the back, and single point pocket flaps. However, all things considered (fit, quality, color/material, price, etc.), these were worthwhile compromises.

The Charvet conversation became too involved. I realized I didn’t want to be micro-managing another bespoke experiment. Also, they have no real denim available, just denim-like shirting.

If @TheFoo posts a photo of his Charvet western shirt, then I will enter the name of anyone who likes or quotes this post for a drawing to win a free pizza with up to two toppings on my dime.
We get to pick the place, right? None of that fake pizza **** from Papa Johns like you like?
I just want to see a delivery from Atlanta to Toronto. I don't even care who makes it.
FREE PIZZA LET'S GO
Anchovies and sausage for my toppings.
If we're lucky, this will turn into an entertaining clusterfuck, too.
Papa John's pizza is so delicious it makes people hate it. It's a fax of life.
SUCK. IT.
