I have some very nice mid weight Grey, Black, and Pink Loro Piana that I picked up for a very good price some months back. I have been trying to find a good, somewhat reasonably priced custom tailor in the los angeles area to make me a nice slim fit 3-piece suit. I have read very nice reviews of Mr. Lee's in Los Angeles on Fairfax in regards to his shirt making, but nothing about his suits. With no mention at all of him in either Styleforum or AskAndy. He has quoted me $800-$1000 For a fully canvased 3 piece suit with me supplying the fabric. My question is does anyone have any experience using him, and is this a good price. The pieces are all constructed in his workshop in Los Angeles and are supposedly "Bespoke" though as far as I know there working off patterns they have in the back. Please advise and let me know if you have had any experience with him.

Thank you very much for your insight.

A price of $800 to $1000 for CMT for a fully-canvassed three- piece suit from a tailor based in the USA sounds rather too good to be true.

Their working off patterns means nothing as long they have created an individual pattern for you. In that event, it will indeed be bespoke.
