I think it would be a great time of year for a weekend trip to Charleston. Treat Ben Silver as a bonus and go has some good food in some mild weather.

While I'm admittedly not a big fan of Ben Silver (more of a personality conflict with the people) and would not personally drive 4.5 hours for the warehouse sale, I can honestly say that the last warehouse sale wasn't all that great. You might be able to make some nice finds, though.
That said, I'll help the Chamber of Commerce and say that the weather is beautiful, and it should be a very nice weekend. Lots of good deals and shopping downtown, as well, at some other fine establishments. It'd be a great weekend trip, all the same.
