I have not purchased a belt yet that retains its shape ... Am I buying the wrong belts? ... Lets see if I can explain this a little better ... The belts do not "twist" ... They just do not stay straight!

When wearing the belt they just do not feel comfortable ... and If you lay the belt on a table it is clear that they are no longer straight ... They have more of a "wave" or a "curve" to them ... This happens after wearing them for a month or so ... Can anyone help?

I can help. Stop wearing belts and only wear braces. Get the buttons put in. Trust me you will never want to wear a belt again. Seriously.

Oh, its the English term for suspenders. Get the buttons in the waistband, the clips are useless and ruin your trousers.

Thanks ... I may try that ... I have never tried suspenders ... Not sure about them though because I normally do not wear a suit ... normally just suit pants, dress shirt, and tie ... Can you wear them without wearing a suit?

It is debatable. Purists say that they should never be seen. You might risk being known as suspender guy.

The curving is completely normal, a result of the belt shaping itself to your body.
As for comfort: thicker, stiffer leathers may have to 'broken in' some. Try thinner, more supple belts, perhaps a braided belt.

Your belts are not perfectly straight because your body is not perfectly straight. To fix the problem, you can lie under a steamroller, train, or large truck and have your body pressed flat. If you don't do this, then you'll have to suffer with curved belts just like the rest of the world.
