I was given a friends and family pass for BR by an employee, and am considering picking up a few items considering to 50% off discount. However, my most recent purchases from BR have not turned out great (a reversible belt broke at the buckle after 3 months and a waffle henley ripped on a sleeve seam). I have also heard many of their items seem to have a boxy fit in recent years, and I am a pretty slim guy (6'1", 160 lbs). Does anyone have recommendations for what items would be worth it at 50% off? Normally, I would invest in clothes a step up from BR, but at 50% off I'm thinking there must be something worth buying. Some items I was hoping to acquire soon is the following:
Brown suede oxfords
Grey Suit
Blazers (variety of colors and fabrics)
Sweaters (prefer merino wool usually)
I would be open to any other suggestions even if it doesn't fit into a category above.
I was also curious about BR's "modern slim" fit suits. They look boxy on the models. Does anyone have experience with this cut? Thanks in advance to all who are willing to take the time to impart their knowledge here!
