Does anyone know who does Neapolitan button sewing (crows claw 3 point) in Melbourne? I need some buttons sewn on some Kiton shirts.

Thanks.

If you have a look online, there are some step by step tutorials. It's really not hard to do, and then you can repair your own shirts with ease.

Eyeglass frames are one of those things that depend more on the person wearing them than the frame itself. LB, for example, looks fantastic in his choice of round P3 lemon yellow frames. Others wouldn't.

I am holding back on telling you what ***** me about the Moscot Lemtosh frame in particular because you've bought enough ill-fitting stuff for 2013 and I am worried for your wallet..

Gents, new to the sartorial journey and looking for recommendations for a tailor in Sydney conservative business dress (preferably close to the Circular Quay / Rocks area).

Also (and this may be a silly question), will your tailor provide you with your measurements as a standard part of the service? I've been obsessing over Epaulet chinos but don't want to take the risk ordering based solely on waist measurements.

Any Melbourne members see the Malthose production of The Shadow King? If so would you recommend it?

TBM personality is a key factor with prescription frames and how their worn also if the individual is introvert or extrovert by nature. Those factors contribute to style, frames and colours.

I tried on the Moscot's and absolutely loved them. Not sure what the issue would be.

No love for Oliver Peoples?

I can't speak with any authority as I've never had a pair, but I think that I've heard people casting some aspersions on them since they have been owned by Oakley, which is a subsidiary of Italian mega-eyewear group Luxottica, since the mid-2000s.

i'm waiting for a sydney stockist to stock their "Sir Series" collection. looking forward to them. as JM said, there's a bit of love lost since they were taken over by Oakley.

^ That will be great. Unfortunately, for me at least, none of those styles fit my head. I only ever fit their "Sheldrake" model (when I give up eating for a year) and the "Bradford". OP tends to suit smaller to medium-sized faces - my face is too huge. It keeps expanding to create room for the beard.

In other news, for Mac users, you can upgrade to OSX Mavericks for free. I just did.
