To all the busy folk here on SF, this post is worth going back for and spending the time going through the list. Apart form our obvious esteemed company in Henry Carter, there are some very good suppliers here with some stand out quality and collections. Hard to name a favourite, the French have gotten me in with their Navy Grenadine with white stripes.

Seriously, this is a very interesting development - Micro Labels. Worth another look by those of you who probably passed this one by in your endeavour to catch up on the reading here.

I'm quite keen on the brooks brothers type positioning of their logo, which could work well at that size on the front making it quite discreet.

Forest green would be my pick for a colour, and I think there has been 2-3 others say the same thing. I think it's a very versatile colour that works well with most greys and blues. Second choice would be maroon. Navy, well I, like most of you also have probably got more navy ties than I care to imagine.

There are a few nice silk twills I'm getting swatches of, not sure of the weight but I will ask.

I don't own any green ties and it fits well in our Australian theme. Consider me on board.

Blahman and SF, still believe the back blade is the way to go, ie the Armoury Logo.[FONT=verdana, tahoma, arial, sans-serif] Dont mean to make this initiative difficult, but its the subtlety and the style we need to remain focused on I believe. I dont and I know many of you hear dont do external labels, its what makes SF what it is. We dont do external labelling. To me, with this design we heading that way. I know BB have a huge investment in external labelling. Just think we need to maintain the initial thoughts here, ie the Armoury concept. Navy or Dark red/crimson with Wattle on the back blade. Nicely turned out, joiji! Are you wearing a jacket as well or just the scarf over the jumper?

Did they have a secret hand shake to go with the ensemble?

And while on the 70's I was at a web conference at the AWM and saw a bloke, mid twenties, this afternoon wearing denim flares? WTF!

Hey did anyone see an ad in the paper today for a Holland & Sherry pop-up store in Melbourne? Think it was in The Age today...

Finally succumbed at the DJs sale and extended my cufflinks collection.

Double-sided pink MOP on sterling silver mounts - $43.

I'm with the Mighty Blahman here on the tie. The wombat symbol. Eats, roots, shoots and leaves.

My personal preference is just the simple slogan on the front:: Sockless & Cockless.

I noticed it in the paper this morning and then completely forgot about it until after work. It was advertising a pop-up sale store located up the Southern Cross end of town, and the ad had sale prices on suits, jackets and other stuff.

Does anyone still have today's Age? It may have been in the Business section...
