Sydneysiders, how often do you see people wearing bow ties?
Very rarely and when I do, they're either pre-tied or it looks a bit trying too hard/stuffy.
UNIFORM LA CHILLICOTHE WORK JACKET Drop, going on right now.
Uniform LA's Chillicothe Work Jacket is an elevated take on the classic Detroit Work Jacket. Made of ultra-premium 14-ounce Japanese canvas, it has been meticulously washed and hand distressed to replicate vintage workwear that’s been worn for years, and available in three colors.
This just dropped today. If you missed out on the preorder, there are some sizes left, but they won't be around for long. Check out the remaining stock here
Good luck!.

There's a senior doc at work who wears one every day. It works for him in the old prof kinda look. I couldn't pull it off.Sydneysiders, how often do you see people wearing bow ties?

WTF is this crap. Do what you and enjoy being a iGent, Dandy or eccentric while doing it but seriously. Cultural creativity is beyond wardrobe expression.I have about a dozen bow ties in silk which I wear for added colour. I also wear colourful shirts, Panama hats with gorgeous silk hat bands, buttoned braces and bespoke trousers without belt loops, but I am allowed to be eccentric because of an "artistic temperament".
Are you regretting not buying that Laurastar...WTF is this crap. Do what you and enjoy being a iGent, Dandy or eccentric while doing it but seriously. Cultural creativity is beyond wardrobe expression.
That's what like on a Sunday night a healthy dose of POMO irony. Are you regretting not buying that Laurastar...
Sounds like he may need a high seat and low rise, tailor may be the better option. I understand this smacks down the "simple is best".My Dad is a larger gent and his pants are always falling down. He won't get suspenders, and belts don't seem to work. Mum's at her wits ends and is asking me where she can take him to buy trousers, she even asked about tailors.
Melbournites, any suggestions other than HB? Dad is about 65, so simple is best.
Pomo? I'm arcronym deficient. That's what like on a Sunday night a healthy dose of POMO irony.
