Has anyone used Trunk Tailors before? Looking to invest in my first good suit next year and would love to hear some feedback. Any other suggestions/recommendations would also be great.

I am based in Melb and keen to explore more brands/stores. Cheers

Hi guys, keen to know where does everyone shop? T shirts, shirts, chinos, shorts etc basically your whole wardrobe.

I'm both boring and middle-aged, so I tend to shop at the following places:

- Uniqlo - t-shirts, chino shorts, chino pants (Uniqlo's "vintage" cotton chinos are really good value), socks, some jumpers and sometimes polo shirts;
- Brooks Brothers (online) - button-up shirts, jumpers, sometimes trousers;
- Country Road - On sale - can be good for t-shirts and chino shorts;
- Gazman - On sale - can be good for chino shorts and woven belts;
- MJ Bale - Occasional pairs of shorts, chino pants or polo shirts.

Brooks Brothers used to have some stores in Australia but then shut down their Australian operation a couple of years back, so you have to order via the US website. I think that shipping is about US$40 per shipment, from memory.

End Clothing (also online) has a really good selection of more casual and "streetwear" clothes. They've got some great knitwear, too, including brands such as Inverallen, Jamieson's and Shetland Woollen Co. They have sales two or three times a year, with really good discounts.

Wanting to upgrade my knitwears. What brand would you guys recommend for merino wool sweaters? Looking for quality eg. Better than Uniqlo but not inis Meain price point. Thanks in advance!

Gran Sasso, 12gg Zegna Cashwool basics. Hard to beat price vs quality ratio (not just because I am the agent), I can help you out. Feel free to message me if interested.

I'd add Henry Bucks to the menswear store list. But only during their sales.

End Clothing (online) has some great knitwear, including brands such as Inverallen, Jamieson's of Shetland and Shetland Woollen Co.

End is particularly good value when they're having a sale, which they do fairly frequently.

Inverallen is probably Inis Meain pricing, but Shetland Woollen Co and Jamieson's are less expensive.
