Os gemeos released this 99/99 60x40" litho this AM at 4,500$ and sold out in minutes.
Wow.

Saw that. Their work has always been expensive though, and they never release prints. 60x40 is a huge print. A custom frame with TruVue Optium would probably run around $3,000.

I remember their canvases starting around $18,000 at their first show in Sao Paulo in 2008, which was very high for unknown artists.

Absolutely zero idea.

The one's I've purchased aren't originals as they were slightly out of my price range at around £4.5k each, the ones I have are stretched canvas prints which are hand finished, and come in a limited run of 5. I'll ask him when I see him on Thursday.

On another note, I've got one of these sitting on my desk, 21st Birthday gift my godfather gave me a few years back. Mid 19th Century bronze casting by the Fonderie Susse, replicating one of Michelango's sculptures in the Medici Chapel.

I would say with 90% certainty that this is nowhere near mid 19C.

My godfather who gave it to me is an antiques dealer, but feel free to research similar pieces by the Fonderie Susse for yourself.

Here's one that sold on Christie's that's dated in the last quarter of the 19th, which is probably more accurate.
