I'm planning to wear these around campus mostly. Do you guys think it's right for the casual atmosphere of a university?

Clothes too large? How do you know? I thought they were the right size with the sleeves falling between 75% - 25% of my bicep. What about the pants? Why do you think they are large? I thought they were a perfect fit!

pants are definitely too long and too wide in the bottom, looks like you are practically dragging them.

@RF X45 - How can you tell they are too long? As far as I knew, jeans are suppose to cover the sneakers a bit?

Well, I assume he must be interested in legitimate suggestions if he sought out the board and posted here. Yes, they will be fine for college, as in he looks just like most college students. If you are fine with that, OP, just disregard this message.

As for the shirt, the sleeve is like twice as wide as your arm, the shoulder seam doesn't land on your shoulder, and it's very visibly bagging on your waist. The jeans don't fit around your thighs, and the bootcut isn't working for you. I wonder if your jeans would stay up if you took your belt off.

I appreciate your brutal honestly! I'll keep it in mind the next time I go out shopping.

The reason why there's so much bagging at my waist is that I purposefully let the shirt hang on the end of my belt to prevent it from totally covering my groin and buttocks. It think when this happens it makes me look shorter than I already am (5' 4").

To answer your question - Not a chance! They're 30" around the waist but 28" and 29" fits me the best, i.e., they actually stay up without the need for a belt.

If your shirt is covering your groin and butt then it's too big. Face it, the shirt is too big all around. Brinbro's link shows a proper t-shirt fit.

If 28/29 fits you best, why are you wearing 30?

I was thinking to get to shorted by a tailor. In addition, if I bulked up and added an inch or so to my biceps you think the shirt would work for me?

At the time, that's the smallest the store had in Levi's. Here's a pic with a 28" - http://img133.imageshack.us/img133/9613/dsc01559.jpg

Yes. I think it's totally worth it for you to bulk up, add a few inches to your biceps, and get back to us about the fit of the shirt. Why didn't I just think of that? While you're at it, do some squats and deadlifts and maybe you'll be able to fit into the first pair of jeans. I take it you are a troll?

The 28 jeans look a lot better, but they're still ballooning out on your legs. Remember, not all sizes are equal across different cuts and brands.

In addition, since you appear VERY skinny, you will want 'atleast' slim fitting clothing as it will make you appear bigger. This advice goes for shirts and jeans.

Damn, so much for that t-shirt plan. Check out this tee - http://img141.imageshack.us/img141/807/dsc01563o.jpg It doesn't cover my butt/groin completely and it's the smallest tee I own. If this doesn't work for me I might have to start shopping in the "Boys" section!
