Hi,

I just recently noticed this was happening with my clarks Desert boots. D:
Should I be concerned about this? What should I do to try to fix them? Will they fall apart? :embar:

if you got them in a Clarks store take them back in. I had another style that did that after about 7 months and they gave me a new pair on the spot. I always have great service at the local store.

+1, great service from my local Clarks. If it's been a while though, just use this as an opportunity to have your cobbler slap a set of Vibram Cristys on them.

hmm ... in retrospect, i should've done this w/ my old clarks DBs instead of simply throwing them out when the crepe sole wore out :- /

My 2 year old DBs do this. Mine separate much worse than the ones in the pic. Even so, they don't seem to be close to falling apart. I think you just have to accept that Clarks are not the most well made shoes and deal. Or resole them.

Mine did this along the front on the left foot. Its bee 42 days since purchase. Taking them back to the clarks store today. I love the boots though. Very comfy! I doubt its a common occurrence.
