I have a senior manager who sits behind me and I have noticed he has noticed that I dress relatively well (proper fitting shirts, round toe shoes that are polished, matching ties, suits and etc). He too tries sometimes to be ‘differently’ dressed with his pink shirts and white collar and cuffs and he does have the odd decent tie.
Because of my ‘consistent’ and ‘well fitted’ dress sense and because he thinks I should have shagged my fit colleague (female) who sits next to me, I am sure he thinks I am ‘camp’ (Camp means closet ****) and has on occasion made insinuations to that effect.
I find this amusing as I am far from ‘Camp’. Short of knocking his ‘teeth out’ and ending my career then and there, is there an appropriate response or comeback I can use in a corporate environment to put the f…ker in his place next time he insinuates or opens his mouth?
I should also note that it seems he is threatened by my physique as I do train, run, swim and I provide some eye candy to my female colleagues each time I strip down to a singlet for a lunchtime swim or run.
I have nothing personal against him other than his insinuations.
