Any of you watched Discovery Channel, like sometimes this weekend?

The episodes scared the hell out of me. Last night, most of my family went out for my cousin's wedding. I stayed at home and watched the entire series of doomsday prophecy and I had some terrible nightmares as a result.

Reportedly, December 21, 2012 is a very important day in astrogeology. The Earth may realign its rotational axis, causing plate tectonics shifts and all kinds of natural disasters.

Any of you find this stuff even "somewhat" convincing? I think I'm a believer.

Whats safe? Maccu Picchu? Or would I be better served being in the Mongolian Steppe somewhere?

2012 is the end of the Mayan Calendar. However, it's not supposed to be "the end of the world" but the beginning of a new world order; the end of a thought pattern.

I saw that but do not believe in it at all. It's just too out there.

Did anyone ever see the special about the island off England's coast that's poised to slide into the sea, and when it does it'll create a tsunami that will destroy every city on the East Coast?

The last lines of the narration were, "It's not a matter of if, it's a matter of when."

I mean, how are you supposed to function for the rest of the day when you hear something like that?

From Blade Runner: "It's too bad she won't live! But then again, who does?" Lets make it till 2012 and then worry about it. (especially since there is really nothing you can do about it)
