Any experience with Outlier swim trunks?

These look good in the pictures where they are flat on the ground, but look at the pockets when worn by the model. If you search hard enough for coupon codes, you can find OB shipped for ~$30 more. I think you'll agree that $130 is already outside of the realm of reasonable for swim trunks, so what's another thirty bucks? :nodding:

edit: I find the tabs infinitely useful, and they use substantial hardware on them. Have you tried a pair on?

I acquired a pair recently and I must say they fit wonderfully - they fall just above the knee on me. I haven't made it to the lake yet but I'll let you know how they hold up once I have.
I have a pair of Outlier's pants of the same fabric and they have been remarkable so far. In my experience everything Outlier makes fits better and is more comfortable than anything else I've worn.

Yeah I have a bunch of outlier stuff. The pants are super technical softshell stuff, which is as legit as it gets. They aren't really meant for long days in the pool, they're just a little too thick, but if you want something to walk around in all day, get some exercise, then go for a quick dip and be dry soon after, these are a good choice.

Ended up grabbing a pair. Very similar to Onia, but the fabric is much tougher and will probably last longer. You're right, not the best shorts for swimming laps b/c they are a bit thick and have extra drag.
