I don't know what do you mean by "sleek".....
But I think GG06 is more of a smart round toe, and Hawksbill is more of a banana shape almond toe (if that makes sense, it looks more like a banana to me, but Antonio claims that's his almond toe last). Hawksbill is more comfortable for people with a medium to wide feet, but GG06 is the widest last from GG, it's actually not as narrow as you may think. I like Hawksbill as its curve is very beautiful, you can see that from all 3 photos.

yup I can fit in GG06 (only tried a long time ago), but never liked how it look, I like how DG70 look (especially on say Rothchild), but just too narrow for me

To me, one of the big draw of GG is its sleekness and I just don’t think GG06 does that (for a round toe if it fits you I would suggest DG70).

Have you also looked at say EG82 as well or JL7000?

If you get the chance, I'd love to see a 'down the line' view of that Hawksbill last from behind and down the outer edge.

Well, I am apparently soon to be on the Hawksbill train. Just realized I had received an email from Antonio that my black hawksbill seamless shoes were done.

He mentioned I should check them out on IG. Unbeknownst to him I don't have IG ?. Antonio forgot to include one as an attachment. Since my cousin is not responding to my texts, would one of you kind gents post a picture or two ??.

@BColl_Has_Too_Many_Shoes Let me know when you throw these out ?

Thanks good man ??.

They look pretty good, and exactly what I was looking for. Understated. Simple. Most importantly, wearable haha. Even got the stitching right ??. I wanted the illusion of a continous stitch including the tongue. Almost forming a square.

Surprised it received as many likes as it did. Doesn't or wasn't really supposed to catch the attention ??‍♂️.

That stitching is very elegant. Extremely tasteful Brian! I'm a big fan of adding a few subtle details to wholecuts

Edit: Oh and six eyelets for a more comfortable fit. You sir are a connoisseur.

Yes sir. Those would be the ones.

Thanks! Yes I agree about adding subtle details to wholecuts. I find them rather boring unless it is a boot or come in an unusual color (which I wouldn't wear anyways haha).

This one here was made with a 1988 or '89 black calf. I wanted to add a touch of something to a whole lot of nothing. The addition of the stitching wouldn't take away from the leather's natural beauty, plus make it slightly different from a typical seamless.
