I don't have experience with Hawksbill, but from what I read so far is same size between Hawksbill and Soft Square.
For me
GG MH71 9E UK (barely fits, TG73 and DG70 is too tight in toebox, so by the same extent Deco is definitely no go)
AM Chisel 2 9E UK (fits well)
AM Soft Square 9F (wide fit) UK, I probably don't need the wider width in heel though, never tried up length (I know a lot size up in Soft Square vs. Chisel 2, I up width instead)
CJ 348 8.5E UK, tight in toebox, not ideal (though boot works out ok, Northcote and Tetbury wise)
CJ 341 8.5E UK, fits well, though instep can be higher
So in short I would say if you can fit in all last in GG, then Chisel 2 and Soft Square and Hawksbill are all probably same size, but if you find GG too narrow (like me), then maybe same length but up width (though have to deal with heel being a bit wide)
edit: when you send in those A/B/C measurement, what did Angela suggest?
Also, I just remembered that she told me that there is about a 0.25 size difference between the soft square/Hawksbill and the chisel 2.
ABC measurements align with my same size as GG/EG, also read the comparison page from customers and feel pretty good going with that size based on what I read. Thanks all!For me Angela's recommendation was a size that matched EG/GG for Hawksbill and Soft Square (11.5 UK). Then Round and Chisel more "typical" British one full size down (11UK). I'm a 12D U.S. with high instep.
For whatever it's worth, I found Angela's recommendation being in line with what I had read online.
Reach out to her with your A B C measurements (check AM's website) if possible.
Sounds like a case of bespoke GG to me...I'm I the only one who's EG size is 1 full size down from US?? As for gg, 1 full size down is too tight but .5 down is too big for me

202, 82, 606 too I believe. I once owned a 9.5uk pair on the 888 last but those were made on the old wooden lasts.on which last though, like I can see 1 full size down on 202 then none of the GG fit in same as EG size.
Some do, most don't ?. I take full size for 72 lastI'm I the only one who's EG size is 1 full size down from US?? As for gg, 1 full size down is too tight but .5 down is too big for me

Nice! You must also feel suspicious when you hear makers or retailers say "just take your regular EG/GG size for this pair" lolI am for all of their main lasts 202 606 82. I'm kind of between sizes though and fit in 9.5 too but I prefer a bit snug.
Maybe the 82 you tried on was an old pair made on the wooden last? I find current 82 to be elongated and generous.I can maybe take 202 one full size down, but there is no way I can take 82 a full size down, though I have no idea if it's the wooden or resin last
I take my usual UK size in almost everything. I think a lot of the confusion comes from people taking the inconsistently converted US sizes (EG says half, JL says 1 etc even though the conversion isn't a matter of opinion since strictly speaking UK and US differ by a whole size).Nice!
