I'm usually a size 10, sometimes a size 10.5.

I was measured for both dress shoes and boots at Allen Edmonds about a year ago. The sales person told me I am a size 10 in dress shoes and a size 10.5 in boots without questions. The size 10 boots felt like a comfortable fit, but I listened to the salesman.

I wear my size 10 dress shoes about once a month and they fit great. They could probably be slightly larger but they are comfortable.

I have two pairs of AE boots in size 10.5. My First Avenues fit great but I slip around in my Daltons. I have only worn my boots about 10 times combined.

I'm wondering if anyone else has experienced this and what you recommend.

Do I need to break them in more? Will they stretch? The differences between First Avenues and Daltons, ect. Thank you.
