I am considering getting a pair of Alllen Edmonds Nomad suede Chukka boots price is good via the BF sale.

They are on the 42 last. I have a pair of McNeill’s on the 97 last which fit me quite well.

My question being would I fit the 42 without any major issues? Being in Oz there are virtually no stockists to simply try a pair on.

The 7 is a great last for me as well but I have no experience with the 42.

I love the 42 last. I wear orthotics, and can put my sport ones into my Whitney shoes on the 42 last. I have to use my thinner (in the heel) dress orthotics with the 65 last in the same size. The 42 had a better ankle fit for me also. It’s roomier in the toe box and ball of the foot, but not insanely so
