I hope you’re not confusing Wichita, KS with Wichita Falls, TX.

This reminds me of a favorite album by Pat Metheny: “As Falls Wichita, So Falls Wichita Falls” [emoji16]

Rocking my new Nomad chukkas. They are a little less roomy than my other AE pairs, but a nice fit nonetheless. I like the “Spice” color with jeans View attachment 1146998
:bounce2:Amazing! How is sizing? How is sizing? How is sizing?

I've had my eye on these for months, and I'd have gotten them if the Renton didn't come along.

What footbed is it on? Is there too much padding? Please tell me it's not orthotic.:-D:thumbs-up:

People are basically reporting the 42N as similar to the 65 with less volume. They are padded being that speed welt or comfort welt or whatever they're calling it, but it's not an orthopedic.

Fantastic. These look great on everyone but me; the 3E I think screws with the pattern shape too much

@madhat

I like the shoe in general and it feels like it will be a good fitting shoe after breaking in. Right now it is digging hard into the back of my foot and squishing my pinky toes. I don’t really think it is worth the full price tag though. I wish they would just re-release the Mora or something that isn’t whack looking like the St. Johns.

Squishing pinky toes = shoes are too small, too narrow, or both.

On the heels of the trunk show, I am scrambling for space.
And, Mrs Brown is traveling, so I stopped at Home Depot on the way home from taking her to the airport.

This is measured to fit in my walk in closet, tightly on the back wall.

30" wide, as each pair of 15Ds requires 10" average width.

Height of each cubby hole was carefully measured to my collection. This rack replaces a similar rack with 9 shelves (30 pairs) and by conserving space, I found room for 10 shelves (33 pairs)

Home Depot is great, I knew I needed 10 pieces, 12x1x30 for shelves, knew the height I needed for the side pieces, and they did all the cutting in a few minutes.

The old one will go to basement, it was overbuilt and you can see the wasted height.

Have a similar thought for space savings in another closet, but, that is for another night. Wife is gone for a week, will be bored so looking for projects.

I think going through and finding a pair of boots for me sounds like a great project! And I imagine your wife would agree!

Friday eve!! Black shell Dundee for me and I'm green with envy of those of you who had the means to pick these up via the trunk show in any color.

Such a great shoe, happy AE brought it back, at least momentarily. Have a good day!
