I'm sure you'll like your 2.0 a lot, but my 2 cents. When I used to go to my retail store more often, I used to look at the oxblood Leeds 2.0 many times. Very nice looking. Then I finally decided to get the 1.0 in burgundy shell. The oxblood calf is most definitely burgundy shell's *****.

Can't argue against that. Many would consider the burgundy shell Leeds to be one of the top 3 AE shoes. I will probably get slammed for stating this, but the Leeds 2.0 offers Higgins Mill quality comfort for my feet. That's something that the regular leather insole cannot do. I think the double JR is the best leather sole I've tried with the regular insole, but my boney toes appreciate the poron. I didn't order oxblood BTW, I got a walnut pair. I'm going to see my current pair on Ebay, as it fits large on me.

‘Lil damp cloth, VSC and brushing today with the Northland Camp Moc’s. Love these shoes. I think I paid $57 plus tax two years ago during a close out sale. Almost daily wear. Look at that patina! Wish they’d bring these back. I really like the nicotine sole, very durable and hides the dirt well.

I like the new Strandmok look. Yes, it is derivative, but that isn't necessarily a bad thing. The kudu Neumok looked good, too, but I'd really want it to be cork and leather instead of the "performance" hybrid materials, so I'd pass. Though, with the constrained width offerings these past two years, I'm probably passing on everything.

Lastly, no snark, but what is a "shirt vest?" Are they meaning both a shirt and a vest? If so, is that really a required dress in some industries or companies? I'm genuinely curious since I've been semi-sheltered to just a couple industries throughout my career.

That's what they should have sent me in the survey. I would have responded: "Getting closer, but not olive yet..." Actually, that Strandmok looks pretty good. More interesting than the current models IMO.

I must be suggestible. You keep talking olive colored shoes and now I'm really wanting a pair. It's only taken how many years? Ha ha! I only have one pair of green-family shoes, the Jade Maritime from a couple years ago. I'd really like more, like the pair you snagged recently. Those are sweet!!

Not a big fan of the quarters going so far down the vamp but it seems like a solid try.
Not a fan of uncircumcised boots. At least they're not as extreme as these

I am sure “The Boot Guy” on Utube would like these. Just not a Roofer boot guy. Talk about a small niche look.

My survey was for boots can't remember the name, the make up was fine Reverse Kudu, commando sole but the blucher lacing went all the way to the welt and I didn't care for that.

I said the same thing re: lacing going to the welt.
