I got the call today.

My son is in town for Mother's Day and scheduled a casual pre-interview meeting today. He comes down the stairs and asks if he can borrow a pair of shoes. It's on!

Me - What are you wearing? Him - I don't know. Me - Figure that out and I'll pick the shoes.

He went with business casual. Lavender button down shirt and grey dress pants. I pull out the vintage black Florsheim MTO SWO. Looking good.

Wearing (made in 1984) Oakmonts today. (Fans of a certain online men's style blog may recognize this surface.)

For fans of "A-E In The Wild" pictures, on Brighton Dr. (between Bedford Dr. and Camden Dr.) on the way to get my hair cut (at Little Joe's in the 9601 Wilshire Blvd Building, where I have gone since the late seventies).

For fans of dog pictures in shoe threads, "The Real Dogs Of Beverly Hills"?

Saw this dog while walking on the Avenue les Chumps-Elysees after getting my hair cut.

Extra Added Attraction: For those who may be thinking of getting a pair of blue shoes but don't know what to wear them with. (The more adventurous amongst you may want to wear this with green or orange shoes.)

On the other hand, some may think this suit is for the birds (of paradise).

Slight deviation from longwing week this evening.

If you’re going onto the field at Raymond James Stadium, you may as well go on like a player!

Now I’m ready for football...

Don’t forget the pirate boot-y.

And park the “Players” on the 50 yard line.

Very nice, @Roycru. And the dog looks good in those Ray-Barks. Sorry.

I have completely solved my slight heel slip on my Oak Streets. The shoe has an extra heel pad on top of the Poron insole and under the glove leather liner. I pulled the heel pad out and the shoe now has zero heel slip. I wore them out tonight and the shoe is more comfortable in every aspect. It makes less noise when I walk and the heel stack seems softer.
