I just received a pair of Loden suede Strands from the Shoebank. They look like firsts. Fantastic color. Even my wife likes them and is glad I bought them -- imagine! And I picked them up for the nice price of $229.

I'd post a picture, but my Samsung makes it so difficult to download photos to my computer that I've given up. I hate Apple and I love my Samsung in all other respects, but this defect may force me to get an I-phone the next time around.

why not just email it to yourself from the phone, then check your email on the computer?

The sale of Allen Edmonds makes me sad. I'm fairly confident that it's the beginning of the end. Never good when a small company is picked up by a conglomerate with a very different approach to production and marketing. Yes, it's time to stock up.

It would be great if Paul G. made an appearance and was able to dispel our concerns.

Good suggestion, thanks. I could, but it's a very unwieldy work-around when you have more than a couple of photos to transfer.

understandable. your apple doesn't have a standard USB port? or does it just not like phone brands that aren't their own?

If there's a chance your internet service is routed through Venezuela, I know there have been a lot of politically-motivated shenanigans involving US-based websites originating from VZ lately. If that's not the case, perhaps an email to AE to inquire would be the most direct/easiest way to get an accurate answer?

I think it's something on your end like your PC/ISP.

I just used my VPN to connect to half a dozen countries around the world and I had no issue accessing the AE site from any.

Not sure how tech you are but you could install one of the several free VPN's and just connect say to the US or someplace other than where you are and see if you can access it.

It has to be something on your end some restrictions.
