I normally wear an 11D but have tried on 10.5E and find the fit good. I ordered both 11E and 10.5E, whatever doesn't fit goes back.

Damn I wish I'd seen this earlier. I have a wedding to go to tomorrow and those'd be perfect.

I'm technically a 9, but I have a somewhat wide foot, so I almost always prefer a 9.5 or a 10 with an insole (my 10 AE Byrons fit worlds better than my 9 PAs, which I believe to be on the same last). I got a 9. Im sure I could have taken an 8.5, but we'll see.

Park Avenues are on the 5 last, AE's narrowest. Byrons are on the 4 last, a wider (though not their widest) and more angular last with a squarer toe. It's my favorite; too bad it's being phased out.

^ I stand corrected.

Wait isn't the "similar"-to-Bancroft Dryden on the 4? That ones square as all hell...?

I received mine and for me at least, they fit like my other pair of AE. Same size 8E.

If someone has a 9.5E they want to unload (assuming it's a true 9.5E), let me know.

I will probably have an 9.5E in the Edmonds. I will email you a little later today.

On the other hand if someone has a 9.5E that runs quite large, I would be interested

Thanks

I got mine the 9.5E fits me like a 10D. I don't think this shoe is wide at all. I have an extra 9E that I will post before I send back to STP.

Just got mine today and I agree - I normally wear a D width and the E's in the Bancroft fit me fine; perhaps the fact they are shell has something to do with it...
