Sorry about starting a new thread but I'm looking into buying a pair of AEs and can't decide between Vernon vs Augusta. Anybody knows which one has the most "svelt" last? Would you use them w "dressy" jeans? Any pics.
Thanks

I'd say the Augusta for dressy denim. The 0 last is the most sleek AE that I know of. I like them myself and have been considering getting a pair.

They're being discontinued and you can get them for half of retail from the shoe bank.

Macneil's or Strands. Walnut in strands or Shell in Macneil. Don't pay retail for either.

I love the 0 last and have both the Boston & Augusta. Same last on both shoes but the Augusta is a tighter fit for some reason. Recommend going up a half size or maybe going one size wider. My Augusta is very tight in the shoe box. Love 'em still.
