Dear all,
I am what your guide to buying a suit describes as "has clothes, but none of them are suits", and I need to buy one within the next 3 months. While this particular occasion is attending a wedding in August, this is likely to be my only suit, used maybe twice a year (for a family Christmas dinner, maybe some professional occasion and weddings/funerals - I don't like suits and am not going to wear them if I can avoid it; but I do want to look presentable when I have to wear one), so let's just say I need a plain 2-piece navy suit (single breasted two button jacket) from (a finer?) wool.
I would like to ask for your recommendations as to what brands should I consider with good quality to price ratio, as I have no idea about the English market. I live in Yorkshire (where this whole business of making fabrics really took off ;-) and can access the area between Manchester, York and Sheffield. My budget is about 400 pounds and I am 178cm / 58kg if this is useful in this context.
cheers
