Adjusting / bending Persol sunglasses

I bought a pair of Persol sunglasses (714, size 52), but after wearing them for a few hours I noticed that I was getting headaches, the arms were pressing too tight on my temples. I read online that some people have adjusted their frames to make them sit better on their face. I was a bit worried to bend them but in the end it was fine. First, cover the sunglasses with something, a t-shirt will do, leave one of the arms exposed and heat it for about 30 seconds, then bend the arms (only so much as you can do it again if you need to) for 2 or so minutes. Also I found the heavy lenses caused the frames to slide down my nose a little bit; to prevent this you can heat the temple tips/earpiece and make bend them to accentuate the curve which will shorten the arms a little. I know this was a bit long but I hope it helps
