You and me both, brother. Just ordered several fabric swatches. It's only a matter of time now until the raping and pillaging of my wallet begins.

My Hober ties are easily my favorites.

Cross-posted from soporific thread--midnight navy and bright navy repp twill solids in unlined, untipped, true 7-fold construction.

I couldn't have put it better myself...

And I'm trying SO hard to save for an engagement ring for my gf [IMG]

lovely. however, the need for swatches is apparent. the colors are very different from hober's site.

I actually went with the self-tipping rather than rolled edges. I believe the backside of this fabric is solid brown like this: http://www.samhober.com/macclesfield...square-34.html.

    Sorry for the iPhone photos.

    Thank you.
    Awesome tie.

    I like the self-tipping.

[IMG] one question for hober - why does borrelli do their 7 fold unlined horizontally and you do it diagonally?

Diagonally looks better. Can't really tell unless you're up close but it's a nice touch.

David, haven't had the chance to try any of your ties yet but I look forward to when I can. Your tutorials for tie-making, PS making etc are hugely helpful! Really great stuff. Some of the neat patterns you make are drool worthy... Actually pretty much everything you make is drool worthy!

I think this midnight blue 7-fold but instead with self-tipping will be my next one. Waiting on swatches currently.

I hate clicking on this thread. There is so much want. I've been recommending David for years now based on things like this alone. Why dont I own a Hober yet? [IMG] I think I need to get the ball rolling here.
