Looks good. How many repairs have you done? I can see the back pockets look like they've been fixed but can't tell if all the other random holes were.

definitely done a few crotch repairs, and one hole on the front right thigh. same for the tear that was below the right back pocket.

I have 2 other pairs in rotation that I'm working on, but I think i'll just keep destryoing and patching this pair for as long as i can..

Looking for some feedback on the fit. I wear 33 jeans/trousers and went for the 30 NS. Thinking I should have went with a 31 or lose some weight. I was able to button all the way up in the store trying them on. I bought into the whole they will stretch. So far wore a few hours one night and just around the house for a few more hours.

Should I hot soak my petit standards? I want to lop off a little of the inseam but not before seeing how much they will shrink vertically.

edit: just searched on google and got my answer

Does anyone have RT Stantons? How do they compare to APC cuts? I'm thinking of trying the Petite New Standard.

I think he wanted advice of the overall fit hemming would help the look overall although not sure if top block would stretch enough.

The waist should stretch more than enough its the thighs that usually dont stretch much.

You can wait for it to stretch then sag it a little.

^ hate to have bought these jeans and news to hem them. Do you think way too much stacking and can just cuff them some to eliminate some stacking?

As for the fit, they seem tight but thinking they'll stretch somewhat in the tighs

Been wearing my NS for about a year and I need to get them tapered below the knee and hem them a bit. Haven't washed yet, so I should do that after a wash, correct?

I just did a cold soak and left them in the sun to dry, and lost 2" on the inseam. They look exactly how I want them, and I suppose it was the sun more than the soak which caused such dramatic shrinkage. I didn't lose any dye, but they might have lost a tad of that "raw" character.

NYliguy, from my experience with my PS (both 31 and 32) the thighs didn't stretch much (if at all) even with a good month of HARD wear, so I decided to give up on them. Looks like the thighs are usually the limiting factor with APCs. Going to get PNS 33 (I'm the same as you--usually wear a 32 or 33 in pants/trou).

Anyone have experience with these stretch petit standards? I've never gotten a pair of APC pants before, and since they don't really post measurements on their site I'm debating to get them. thanks for the help!
