Can anyone help me with size?
I want a slim look but not skinny.
    Im 5'11 and weight 170lbs.
Im not fat lol im muscular
I wear nudie average joe dry selvage size 31x34
What size should I get for apc new standard?
    size 30 or 31?
    Thanks

I had AJs in that size (dry heavy, though) and Regular Ralf Dry Selvage in a 31x34 as well. I take a 29 in the NS.

Anyone here ever try Gap's 1969 authentic fit? Which APC cut would you guys say is most similar to it? Rescue or NS?

Fit pics of my thrifted New Standards. Apologies for the ugly background..this is on my porch.

They appear to have been soaked once. I included a pic of the hem (as they came). These are size 30.

Will these stretch for a decent fit? They are pretty painted on at the moment, and the fly buttons are tugging apart a little bit.

If most of your jeans are 31 size down two to a 29 if you want a good fit. They will be a little tight at first but should end up fitting just right. I'm 6,1 and weigh 190lbs and most of my jeans are 34 but I can sometimes fit into a 33. I got NS in a 32 and they fit nice and tight without being uncomfortable. They stretch.

Whats up with the re-attached hem?

What's up with the hem is that they are thrifted. People hem like that sometimes, though I never would (esp when there's no chainstitching to preserve). Could be why they were abandoned, though it doesn't seem to make much difference unless you wanted to cuff.

I ran a search of both this thread and the forum and didn't really come up with anything, so I apologize if it's been asked:

Is the "Supreme" line any different than their standard line in terms of fit/construction/materials? Or do they just have "Fuck 'em" stitched on the back?

Does anyone have an actual waist measurement of Rescues in a size 32?

    Thanks!

I saw them at the APC store in LA. They appear to be a little darker and the denim a little smoother than the regular APC jeans. I thought they looked really great until I looked at the back, at which point I said "fuck 'em."

I don't really plan on buying them. I'm looking at Andy Whalls or Somets to replace my RRDS, but I figured if they were decent, they were worth looking at...

But thanks for the info, guys

I biked into work today in mine... they actually weren't too bad. Still a little tight on my thighs one week in though

Anyone have any experience with only sizing down 1 as opposed to 2 (Petit Standards)?
