Dear SF members,
Thank you for those of you who have supported the first ever SF shoe revival challenge. As a longtime and active member of the "vintage shoe thread" (https://www.styleforum.net/threads/...nance-and-advice.526196/page-671#post-9449115), it is natural that I have an intense obsession/addiction with reviving used shoes.
I decided to create this challenge to give us something to do. I mean, life can be pretty boring and monotonous. Unlike using Saphir Renomat to strip leather. Now, THAT redefines living. Many of the competitors spent countless hours haggling to get shoes within the $15US limit, and many more hours of battling spouses while huffing renomat and polishes. Their dedication alone must be recognized.
Anyways.
Special thanks to @StyleforumRobot for providing her able assistance throughout this competition. And to @smfdoc and @davidVC for giving input and wisdom for behind the scenes action.
Initially, this was solely for the fun and recognition. But as the competition picked up steam and "hits", we started gaining prizes.
The top 3 winners will win the following:
1st prize:
- $100 voucher from B Nelson in NYC. B Nelson will cover shipping both ways if in USA. If from the outer limits, winner pays shipping to, and B Nelson takes care of return shipping. Thanks to @Nick V.

Everyone, and anyone can vote. You get 3 choices. Criteria? The best 3 pairs of shoes that were revived. I know that sounds too open. But beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
