Yeah if I'm an NFL team I would without a doubt say that this kid has serious issues and its now not worth it to deal with him.

Exactly. When you're most likely one year away from being a first round pick and come from a wealthy family and aren't hurting for money even as a collegiate athlete, some screw is loose somewhere if you're doing this. Kid would get eaten alive in a functional NFL locker room.

I would never be inclined to give millions of dollars to an adult who sack punches people with his father. Douchebag.

If this ends up being true and confirmed, he's a ******* moron.

Agreed. It's one thing when it's a kid with nothing who suddenly realizes he can cash in and buy some of the stuff he's always wanted, but there's not reason for Manziel to do that. He comes from money, and his parents haven't exactly been shy about giving him the things that money can buy. I get all the partying and stuff that he's been doing, but I can't imagine he needed cash.

I would never be inclined to give millions of dollars to an adult who sack punches people with his father. Douchebag.

I'm assuming you saw that in the ESPN article? That struck me as shockingly douchey, as well.

Yeah. In Johnny Doucheball's defense, his father figure seems like a total immature buffoon and likely didn't provide too much in the way of positive guidance.

Yeah, but how long is that an excuse for? Hopefully the negative feedback will drive change in his behavior. However, I do think we expect WAYYYY too much out of the twenty-year old males populating our favorite sports teams.

We may expect too much, but there are some things that just seem like complete common sense. For example, if you are the QB for Texas A&M, don't expect to get a good reception at a UT frat party. I can't remember the last time I saw a ND QB try to attend a Michigan or USC frat party. Same with LSU Bama or any other sports rivalry. All people expect of Manziel is to be happy to be one year from being a first round NFL pick and to not call his eligibility into question for what is chump change for a guy who comes from a wealthy family that buys him a Mercedes to drive around in.

I'm not an A&M fan or fan of one of their main rivals, so I've got no horse in this race besides my general interest in a college football story involving a Heisman winner. I still can't help but think this is just colossal stupidity on Manziel's part.

As a fan of you-know-who, I am delighted beyond words that this is happening to Johnny Footbaw.

I kind of like Manziel. I like how brazen he is about his own stupidity and immaturity.
