Hey Everyone, I'm a 20 year old college student that needs some solid brand advice. Specifically, what brands are worth investing in. I'm of course willing to pay whats necessary to obtain quality.

Advice on denim and shoes would be greatly appreciated. :D

Thanks! SNS Herning has some really cool items. I'm just unsure about fit. I live close to a J Crew and will check it out, although would still be willing to pay more for something better then "made in china quality". Jut trying to think long term.

If you're really willing to spend a lot, Momotaro and Pure Blue Japan both make very nice raw denim, as does Raleigh.

Slim raw denim (APC, Naked and Famous)- don't spend more than $200. You'll spill beer, blood, and pen ink on them in school. Wait until you're a denim head to spend more.

Good, basic sneakers. Common Projects can get as cheap as $200- try a pair on somewhere and grab them on sale. Nobody pays retail. For almost anything.

Wings and Horns hoody. Tigerfleece or large loop are pretty comfortable.

If a leather jacket is something you're interested in, try TOJ/John Coppidge for made to measure leather jackets. Quality to cost ratio is great, just try not to let people pressure you into what you should buy. You know your self best, go with what you think looks good on you.
