This is a very nice leather (goat skin) A-2 style bomber jacket in excellent condition. The color is dark chocolate. The jacket has no issues whatsoever except for tiny needle holes on the left chest where a badge holder was originally sewn on (the holder has been removed but is included with the jacket). The needle holes are visible close up but on casual viewing they are not egregiously visible and do not detract from the look of the jacket. The jacket was originally an official uniform item for a federal law enforcement agency thus the badge holder.
The jacket is of excellent quality and made in the U.S.A. The jacket features a YKK zipper, snap collar, snap outer pockets and a snap inner pocket, and a rayon lining. The jacket looks identical to an official A-2 pilots jacket and I believe it is made by the same supplier that supplied official pilot jackets to the U.S. Air Force.
The jacket is a 38R and measures as follows:
Shoulder to shoulder 18"
Pit to pit 22"
Sleeve from shoulder seam 24.5"
