Interesting challenge. I'm travelling this week so my wardrobe is very limited, but I'll try to come up with something.

Very cool challenge. Not sure I will have time to search for the inspiration, but I hope so because this seems like tons of fun.

Just google some of these search words and you'll have a bunch of Inspiration: "vintage menswear ads" "apparel art" "JC Leyendecker" "Laurence Fellows" "Kuppenheimer ads".

EFV, don't you have a jacket similar to this?

900x900px-LL-946bc106_Eskya2.jpg

This makes me realize how amazing a single breasted peak lapel jacket with a nice lapel roll can be. Obviously a more modern lapel (with the peak significantly higher up). But still. It'd exaggerate the roll wonderfully.

The middle jacket reminds me of Suit Supply's half-lined Washington (which has weird lapels)

haha, great idea. too bad the 80s are not allowed :)

One of my favorites from you channelled a kind of 70's vibe, I think it got a crazy amount of thumbs as well.

FWIW, while not really vintage and therefore outside of the scope of this this FC, I have been known to do a Ralph Lauren ad cosplay from time to time:
