It seems to me that Loro Piana almost never makes anything thick like that, or something equivalent to a 4 ply knit. Am I missing something or is it the case? Thanks- Zc94

Not just this “Steve McQueen” piece, every single William Lockie sweater is more expensive than ones sold on other sites like Ahume. Even the standard Chirnside, Frans Boone has different colors yes but… Otherwise a very helpful and easy to use online shop.- Zc94

In that case I would also say merino is the best option. Many athletic wear and outdoor brands have their most expensive versions of t shirts and sweatshirts with some % of merino in it, for that matter I think.- Zc94

I do this three layer set up when I’m outside for a long period of time. But most of the times when I’m in and out of places or staying inside of a building for a little bit I find it too hot to have base layer plus a mid layer. Usually I’d just wear a cotton t shirt underneath the mid layer...- Zc94

I agree with almost everything you’ve said, with the exception with what Drake’s is doing in the US. A wool coat costs about $1,300 in UK, same exact same coat costs $2,000 in the USA…there was a recent sample sale in NYC, and some of the stuff were still more expensive than the UK retail...- Zc94

Just with any coats, my solution is to put them on the passenger seat or backseat…put them back on when I step out of the car. Only time I wear them is when the car is full which is almost never... yeah my solution is to avoid it lol… Bonus to this is that it’s more comfortable to drive without...- Zc94
