    When I bought my first pair of EGs (Chelsea DOAK, 82 last) from Saks circa 2018 they came with shoe trees included in the box. They appear to fit the last of the shoe. Recently bought a second pair directly from EG and no shoe trees were included this time.

    RLPL Suit Worth It? Other Options at Similar Price Point?

    I have a fair amount of RLPL in my closet and consider them to be top tier as well. They also fit me almost perfect OTR. If you are looking to try some other options, I've also settled over the years on Kiton, Brioni, and Zegna Couture and have been pleased with all of them.

    Thanks for your reply. Yes, I bought items when they were on regular sale. Now all of the items are on 'final sale' but they weren't when I placed my order in early January. They only just arrived so that may have something to do with it, not sure. The website says within 30 days since purchase...

    I'm trying to initiate a return for the first time using your Happy Returns option. When I select the item to return, no matter which reason I select in the pop up, it only gives me an option to "Exchange for something similar". There is no option to return for a refund. How do I initiate a return?

    Help me choose an Oxford shoe

    I got my Chelsea on the 82 in DOAK. When I compared with the John Lobb City II, I preferred the look and the leather on the EG, it seemed superior to my eye and touch, but it could have been due just to the individual samples I saw since there is variety in the skins used.

    Thanks for the feedback. The shrinkage was actually just the right amount. I suspect the shape change is due to the cashmere blend as none of my other socks reacted that way after a hand wash but they do fit better now so no harm.

    Thanks for the informative explanation. They appear about an inch longer than my foot so I probably need to go with the 10-11.5 size I suspect as the 12-14 size is a bit large.

    I've put them on and they stretch to the same shape on the calf, they just look a bit scrunched up as in the pic when off. When I hand washed some of their 100% Merino Wool socks in the past they came out looking the same afterwards shape wise so I wonder if it has something to do with the 30%...

    So I hand washed the pair that are 70% Merino wool and 30% cashmere using Eucalan's No Rinse Delicate Wash. They shrank a bit and fit better now but also seemed to lose some of their shape. Does this look like the expected outcome for hand washing socks? Left is unwashed, right is washed.
