Good question! I'd try alternating them rather than layering. So I would do three nights the smoother and four nights the restorer. You are both correct - somewhat. Eye specific moisturizers may be formulated to be less irritating than other moisturizers, that said, if you use a non-irritating moisturizer that doesn't have alcohol, fragrance, etc, it is as valid as an eye moisturizer. The important thing is you are using sunscreen! It is essentially to keeping your skin looking great, especially in summer months (although, ideally, you would wear it year round). You should give some other brands a try once you finish that bottle. I'm happy to give some recs once you do :)- Overt
