    suggestions for pants/jeans fitting?

Problem: unfortunately large stomach, relatively skinny/muscular legs. Jeans that fit around the waist look like parachute pants on the legs. Jeans that look good on the legs I have to wear below the waist and it's uncomfortable and they slip a lot. Help me obi-wan.

general advice on dressing to hide flaws

Maybe someone has a good idea or two: I am trying to (a) look slightly skinnier (who isn't), but I also want to (and this might not be possible) (b) look slightly shorter. Not that I don't mind looking like a professional wrestler (unfortunately not one of the well-cut ones) generally, but...

    mock turtleneck untucked?

I picked up an inexpensive mock turtleneck that I really like the color of. My question is, can I wear this untucked? It's somewhat long, and while too thin to be a sweater it has that sort of sweatery feel. So untucked with jeans? How about with slacks, or is that even more of a stretch? I...

    shrinking a sweater

    yet another peacoat sizing question

Two questions: 1. I wear a 44 suit jacket, but a 42 overcoat. What should I go for on a peacoat? Was going to go for a sterlingwear but maybe another brand. I have lost weight recently, and plan on losing some more, so I don't mind a somewhat tight fit right now, and I don't plan on wearing...
