Well I haven't been able to find them online anywhere - I thought the sole might be distinctive enough, but no luck :(

Just won these shoes - can you identify them???

Well if they are I may have got the bargain of the century! The seller is based in Northampton, and seems to list lots of 'unbranded' goodyear welted shoes that were intended as 'samples', along with a few lesser known brands like Berwick and Tiger of Sweden

What's gone wrong with these shoes?

Thanks - some great advice here Yes they are slightly too big - I am actually debating whether they are ok to keep - but I do have odd shaped feet! Yes I polished the vamp. Ironically because of Shoe Snob videos that I watched. But I do like the idea of only using wax on the cap and heel...

What's gone wrong with these shoes?

Are you saying that the marks on the shoes are actually caused by the polish? If so, am I better removing the polish completely are seeing how they look? Thanks

What's gone wrong with these shoes?

How is the leather protected if you wear them without any treatment? I would have thought that any marks, scuffs etc would damage the leather if it didn't have a few layers of Polish?

What's gone wrong with these shoes?

What's gone wrong with these shoes?

I've just bought these shoes from Bexley in their clearance sale. I thought that for £70 they would be ok for everyday / bad weather wear rather than ruining my better shoes. They arrived yesterday and I conditioned them with Saphir renovateur, then gave them 3 thin layers of polish. While...

That would be great, and I already did this with a pair of Fifth Avenue. However, I'm not in the US so the shipping pretty much doubles the price

    Need some new brown shoes!

I'm in the market for a pair of brown shoes for work in an office. I know that these aren't English made, and are probably low end Loakes, but for £84 delivered (with a discount code) they look pretty good...

    Gentlemen Prefer Brogues

Has anybody ever heard of this brand? http://www.gentlemen-prefer-brogues.co.uk/acatalog/Elite_Oxford_Leather_Sole.html For £50 (or 2 pairs for £79) they appear to be selling full grain leather, goodyear welted, handmade shoes! With spare laces, a shoe horn and a polishing cloth! Surely...

    Shoe buying advice please

I'm looking for a pair of brown shoes to wear occasionally (1-2 times per week max), that don't cost more than £100 and are capable of wearing in a British winter! I've found 4 that look reasonable - which would you buy? Thanks...

    Good Cheap shoes for winter?

I've been trying to find a decent looking pair of shoes for work this winter. I have some Loakes, and various other leather soled shoes. I struggle to walk without slipping in them, so they will be no use for me on ice! Plus I don't see the point in damaging really great shoes in bad...

    Discount Shoes Tree 'seconds'

I just found these on ebay - they look to be a great price for cedar trees, and have free postage. They are from within the UK. Though I would share, but also appreciate any comments on whether these look any good...
