Disagree. I think its fair to say that, at that time, Rolex evolved their business model from producing the best 'Tool watches' to something else, but they certainly remain a watchmaker. I loved this watch when it debuted. If Omega had done a different treatment to the lume I would have been in, even had a deposit placed during Basel release. Yes indeed! They currently valued only slightly higher than their modern superlominva brethren, but not like a "vintage" example just yet so they seem to be still a good bargain. Strangely enough, my '95 Sub has ever so slightly different Lume color between dial and hands. Neither dial nor hands glow any longer so they may have been serviced and replaced once upon a time in the 90s but maybe not. I've gotten that reaction quite a bit actually! Short answer is after I got the Breguet I never wore the Lange, love the Breguet so much more, that it didn't make sense to have such a nice watch sitting unworn.
