    I have some new shoes (off eBay) and when they are laced up tight the vamp makes a V. Maybe it's just me, but it looks odd, like my feet are too "tall". I guess I've never noticed it in other shoes. The shoes fit fine and are comfortable. Is that V normal and acceptable, or slop?

    For 119 and 89, respectively? (Those were the prices on the RLPL and Canali's I saw yesterday. I don't remember the exact prices, though the Canali was over $100. It surprised me, there's rarely anything over $50 there. I showed it to the wife and she laughed at me.
