Follow up question: Heritage make ups get a tag on the inside of the shaft, all else get the brand stamped on the outside of the shaft. So I should expect no external branding, Is this accurate?

Question for shuyler: I'm thinking of buying some packers in wicket and Craig leather, will this make up be part of the heritage boots sale on Sunday?

Looks really proportional, and I could see these beign popular, but as a personal preference I would prefer the normal high heel.

In addition, it would be cool to see a video highlighting finished boots in wicket and Craig leathers. I know there is a short video on utube about the difference in tanages, but the video left me wanting more.

Thanks! On a slightly related note. Do you guys work on boots from other manufacturers? I have a small collection of good year welted cowboy boots, one of which is slightly large on me and I was looking at getting it relasted some time next year. Is this something that you guys are able to do?

New kilties came in: Original ones after a week: More boot pics: Kilties go all the way to the top, which is what I was looking for. Thanks again to the staff at Nick's for sending these out free of charge when they could have easily squeezed me out of 20 bucks!

Big thanks to Shuyler! Earlier today I inquired about the fact that the boots came with 7 inch kilties, Shuyler explained to me that this is what they normally do since the pants protect the rest of the boot, but that he would be happy to ship some of the larger kilties free of charge. Long...

Here are some pictures comparing the structured toe vs unstructured toe. The unstructured boots are both White's bounty hunter. One in brown horsehide, and the other in Olive waxed flesh. Both on the 55 last, The structured toe boot is the Nick's Falcon. Excuse the bad lighting and amateur...

Thank you, I will post some pictures today or tomorrow comparing the structured toe on this pair of boots versus the unstructured toe on one of my pairs of White's boots. It really just comes down to aesthetic preference.

I got these with celastic, I prefer celastic on smooth leather.

Piggie back question. I recently purchased a pair of 8" falcons. Is the heel height on these the same as the heel height of the Roberts? I compared the heel of the falcons to the logger heel of my White's and it was the same height.

Celastic helps to retain the original toe shape. In my opinion it does give a toe a slightly more chunky appearance. But it's really not a drastic difference. The toe on my non structured boots begin to collapse and become more sleeker within the first week of wear, my structured boots have...

Thank you, these are structured with celastic. I have structured and unstructured boots, I like unstructured on waxed flesh, but I prefer structured on smooth leather. This toe is slightly more boulbous when compared to White's 55 last. The very front of the toe doesn't tapper as much.
